Game Drives
Early morning and late afternoon is when the wildlife is most active. Nothing is guaranteed, but anything can happen, and our expert rangers will introduce you to the fascinating world of the African bush from the safety of our capable Land Cruiser game vehicles. Delight in the antics of a baby elephant trying to master its trunk, witness the power of a leopard dragging its kill up into a tree, and feel the roar of a lion reverberate through your chest. Look up into the forest canopy for a sighting of the Samango monkeys foraging for fruit and flowers. On the night drives, keep your eyes peeled for a pack of wild dogs on the hunt, the elusive honey badger or a scuttling porcupine.
African Safaris
Walking Safaris
An armed ranger leads the walking safari and introduces you to an intense connection to the natural world, where large wildlife are at eye level. The slower pace reveals details missed on a game drive, from animal tracks to the myriad of insects, plants, and small creatures in this complex ecosystem. A walking safari offers earthy scents, gentle sounds, and a focus on the smaller miracles of nature.
The Ngwana Club specialises in delighting children on safari. It offers dedicated arts and crafts, nature walks, cooking lessons, and other activities to keep them entertained and spark a passion for the natural world

Water Safaris
Fishing – With over 75 species found in the Zambezi River, fishing can be as thrilling as catching the sharp-toothed tiger fish or a relaxing experience that yields anything from the Zambezi electric catfish, Talapia, or Cornish jack to the more commonplace barbel and bream. All fishing is done on a strictly enforced catch-and-release basis to ensure the health of the river and its aquatic populations.
Water safaris—View the river from a different perspective as you glide silently in a canoe with a river guide or chug along sedately on a sunset boat cruise. Wading birds, lions eating a kill or dozing on the cool embankment, hippos, crocodiles, and any number of wild animals coming down to drink are just some of the sights you might see from the water.
