Boasting the best views in Zambia, the Chichele Presidential Vista Suites, crafted from natural stone, wood, and glass, merge harmoniously with the landscape. The contemporary décor reflects the historical ties with Presidents and royalty, and the palette contrasts ebony and ivory colour scheme inspired by Salt and charred timber accented with the clay-coloured soil and copper from the surrounding hills, it’s light and elegant. The name Chichele means salt in the local Chewa language.

Vista Suites

The lodge comprises 10 spacious, air-conditioned Vista Suites that are all equipped with Wi-Fi, an immense bed swathed in sumptuous linen, a private viewing deck and plunge pool and a tea and coffee station. The bathrooms feature a huge bath, dual washbasins, and an outdoor shower.

Chichele welcomes children. Our family suite comprises two bedrooms connected by an interleading lounge, and our 10 luxury Vista Suites each have a bedroom and spacious lounge area,

All suites are positioned far apart to provide guests with exclusive, private accommodation.

CUISINE

Dining at Chichele Presidential Lodge is a culinary journey that will delight every palate.

Fresh fruit and vegetables are hand-picked from a local market, spices and some rare herbs from a secret location, and the wines are the very finest from South Africa’s vineyards. The coffee is always freshly ground, and a wide selection of teas is available.

Aficionados of spicy foods are encouraged to try our unique “Chichele chilli.”

We cater to most dietary tastes and requirements but request advance notice due to our remote location.

The Interactive Cooking Station is next to the infinity pool. Interact with the chefs and enjoy a wood-fired pizza on the pool deck overlooking the Luangwa Valley.
