Luxury Under the African Sky: Indulging in Zambian Safari Lodges
Zambia is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. Its vast expanses of pristine wilderness, fed by a network of rivers, are home to abundant wildlife and exquisite landscapes.
The sunny tropical climate, rich culture, warm hospitality, conservation and community-focused ethos position it as a premium destination for the ultimate African safari.
The Zambia Luxury Lodge Collection (ZLLC) invites guests to experience the wild in style and discover the untamed luxury of an immersive, authentic African vacation.
Our four exclusive properties in remote, wildlife-rich regions cater to individual travellers, families, groups and couples. They offer high-end comfort and the intangible luxury of vast open spaces, ethereal light, dazzling night skies, dramatic sunsets and endless time to take it all in.
Lolelunga Private Reserve
Lolelunga is a trailblazing private conservation project that seamlessly integrates wildlife preservation with sustainable tourism. Strategically positioned 30km from Kafue National Park, it offers untamed luxury, immersed in the wild. The privately owned sanctuary spanning 30,000 hectares will welcome guests from the 1st of August 2025. It is a conservation success story that has restored a remote area decimated by poachers, deforestation, dynamite fishing, and indiscriminate logging.
The name “Lolelunga” is a blend of two words: “Lole,” the nickname of the owner’s last-born child, and “Lunga,” the name of the beautiful river that forms the northern boundary of the reserve. The Lunga River originates in northern Zambia and is perennial, featuring some of the clearest and cleanest waters, offering outstanding fishing, fascinating aquatic reptiles, and birdlife.
The reserve also features swamp terrain, a habitat for one of the unique antelopes in Zambia, the Sitatunga, depicted on our logo.
Rewilding began in 2021, with the reintroduction of 34 animal species, including puku, red lechwe, eland, kudu, zebra, roan antelope, buffalo, and giraffe. The reserve is now home to elephants, hippos, crocodiles, pangolins, and aardvarks. Predators include lions, cheetahs and servals. Cheetahs have been scarce in Zambia for a long time, so we are thrilled that the cheetahs we introduced last year are thriving. It has over 340 bird species, including Zambia’s national bird, the Fish Eagle, making it a biodiversity hotspot.
The Lunga River flows 19 kilometres through the reserve, and all seven accommodation units are at the river’s edge. The main camp has a riverside infinity pool, star deck, fully equipped gym, and a dining area overlooking the river, where otters play, crocodiles and monitor lizards bask, and hippos and elephants frequently appear. It is ideal for exclusive use for small groups and families.

Chichele Presidential

Initially built in the late 1960s, this historic lodge has 360-degree views over the valley, offering an unrivalled vantage point over one of Africa’s premier wildlife landscapes.
A breathtaking guest area where sweeping arched windows frame the endless wilderness, letting nature take centre stage. Shaded verandas invite leisurely alfresco dining, where every meal is savoured against a backdrop of untamed beauty. Puku Ridge
This award-winning lodge offers an intimate, unassuming experience. Puku Ridge blends style and comfort seamlessly with nature.

The outstanding feature of the guest area is the strategically situated Eye to Eye” photographic hide, which offers prime views of the camp’s private watering hole.
South Luangwa is known as the “Valley of the Leopard” due to the unique high density of this elusive African big cat. Sightings abound on day drives and at night when filtered red spotlights are used. Renowned for some of Africa’s finest bush walks, Puku Ridge offers guests the thrill of exploring the valley on foot, where they may encounter extraordinary and elusive wildlife—including the rare and endangered Wild Dogs.

Lolebezi
Lolebezi is in the Lower Zambezi National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With over one kilometre of river frontage, the majestic Zambezi River takes centre stage. The guest area boasts an infinity pool, boma, gift shop, yoga deck, Spa, and fully equipped gym.
