Originally built in the late 1960s as a private retreat for the late President Kenneth Kaunda, the Lodge has undergone a complete transformation from the ground up. Drawing on its Chewa name, ‘salt’, the Lodge’s colour palette features a stunning contrast of ebony and ivory, whilst charred timber accents and subtle touches of copper, Zambia’s signature export, add a further hint of luxury.
